Custom Thank You Notes that Won't Break the Bank
I firmly believe you should never pay more for something when you can get the exact same product at a lower price, which is why I love coupons! I talk a lot about coupons in my book, but today I'm focusing on one of my favorite websites for discounted products: Vistaprint.
My bridal shower and bachelorette party are only a couple weeks away (yay!). At the very least, I will owe some major thanks to the women who are involved in planning these events, so I decided to prepare by ordering thank you notes in advance. I normally stock up on the fun thank you notes from the discount spot at Target (you know, that section at the front of the store where they draw you in with a million adorable things that are all under $5... a low budget bride's dream!), however, I wanted to do something extra special for my upcoming festivities.
I had found some adorable thank you note ideas on Pinterest, but I wanted to see if I could create something just as cute (and a little more affordable) on my own. Since I do not have a background in graphic design, I love websites and apps that make it easy for me to design products, despite my limited skills. I used Vistaprint to create my wedding save-the-dates and related materials, so I decided to start there with my thank you note project.
After browsing through Vistaprint's note card and postcard options, I found one I really liked. I played around with the design until I was able to create something comparable to one of my favorite finds on Pinterest. To my pleasant surprise, the postcards I picked were also on sale, so I was able to order 50 of them for under $15 (including shipping)! This was an amazing deal compared to the ones that inspired my design, which cost $30 for 20 note cards or $10 to purchase the design and print them yourself.
I am super excited to get these thank you postcards in the mail, and already brainstorming design ideas for my wedding thank you notes.
